Mounting

Mounting

The least understood part of the truck-mounted forklift is the actual mounting itself. Sellick will help you through the whole process, providing you with the information and support to give you reliable transportation.

Truck mounted forklifts are ocnsidered part of the load by the U.S.D.O.T. This means that it is no different thant lumber hanging off the back of the truck or trailer. On federally funded highways, forklifts cannot exceed 102" wide or 13' 6" high when loaded.

Sellick utilizes the most common type of mounting system, known as a pad mount. It protects the transported forklift while allowing the truck or trailer to back into a dock.
